Youth Boys Lacrosse
Santa Fe Youth Boys Lacrosse focuses on three founding principles:
- Love of the game, sport, and competition
- Character development in context of positive and supportive team culture
- Intentional and professional coaching and lacrosse skill development
The Santa Fe Youth Boys Lacrosse program is a community sports organization that aims to create strong sports systems for youth development. The official lacrosse season occurs from March through May, there will be tournaments that require traveling.
SFLAX is supportive of multi-sport athletes, with committed lacrosse players practicing three times per week, and jamborees on weekends from April through May.
Santa Fe Youth Boys Lacrosse supports players age 7-14 from all over northern New Mexico.
Practices
- Practices run from March (pre-season) through May, with opportunities in June and July.
- Practices occur 2 times per week.
- Locations: Salvador Perez, Santa Fe Prep, Milagro MS, Aspen, Santa Fe Municipal Sports Complex.
Equipment
- Full-gear rentals available.
- Boys lacrosse requires a stick, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouth-guard, and sports attire.
- Practice-pinnies provided.
