Who are We?

From our Executive Director, Marc Reynolds:

Santa Fe Lacrosse offers a perfect balance of community building, character development, and programmatic excellence in sports.

Lacrosse is a game created and celebrated by the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) of the northeastern United States and southeast Canada. This game was created to celebrate life on earth, to pray, heal, and at times to settle disputes. The game of lacrosse is a shared community activity for developing strong spirit, competitiveness, and athleticism.

Our goal at Santa Fe Lacrosse is to engage the wider community, acting as a vital support system as our youth take on the tough journey of growing up.

Community, Inclusion, Excellence. We can't wait to work with you!

Marc Reynolds

Executive Director

Santa Fe Lacrosse

Marc grew up in Madison, CT where he chose to play lacrosse over baseball because lacrosse practices were more fun than baseball games! Marc began playing lacrosse at the age of 10 where he quickly rose from C and B teams to play on the Connecticut/New York Allstar Team (CONNY) his 7th and 8th grade years. Marc played defense in his high school years, earning all conference in Connecticut his last two years along with playing in the senior all star game. Marc continued his lacrosse career and studying Science at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia where he became the 10th all time leader in ground balls, a three year captain, the only ever 4 year defensive MVP, and all MAAC honors his last two years. Marc then coached at Salisbury School (CT), Collegiate School (VA), and Santa Fe Prep (NM). Marc's passion for growing the game of lacrosse has taken him to the role of Executive Director of Santa Fe Youth Lacrosse and the head coach of the Santa Fe Wolverines LC. While not engaged in Lacrosse, Marc spends his time wandering the off trail landscapes of the Southwest in all seasons.
